Max Crowdfund Tech Update
Max Crowdfund Tech Update
Wallet information storage, security updates and blockchain integration… If you’re not familiar with these terms, this tech update is not for you. You have been warned!
MPG has made the important decision of generating and storing wallet information for all users that have passed KYC. This means that all transactions will be signed server side without users having to do anything additional. Some of the benefits of this approach are:
- All wallet information is stored safely, encrypted and inaccessible from the internet
- There is never an issue with losing control to an account in case a passphrase gets lost
- No extra steps required for completing transactions, specifically signing it with passphrase or generated token
- Optional download of wallet information for external use as preferred by user
Security updates
Several security updates have also taken place over the last few days and weeks. We have now:
- Implemented multiple security updates for Drupal
- Implemented Cloudflare, protecting from DDoS and hacking attempts
- Implemented fixes for several security bugs raised by our community, such as:
- Implemented DMARC to block any attempt from outside to send e-mails in our name, which some users reported
Blockchain Integration
We have now implemented the Dominium Archival Node and the Dominium Archival Node & Bundler, both on https and protected by Cloudflare.
